Frequently asked questions
Understanding the work
Mind body regulation is the practice of noticing what is happening within you and learning practical ways to respond with greater awareness and choice.
No. Breathwork is one tool inside a wider method. The full method moves through five stages: awareness, breath, regulation, presence and integration.
It is a wider framework that can include elements of each, with clear boundaries. This is not therapy and does not replace care from a qualified mental health professional.
No. No belief system is required or referenced. The work is practical and body based, open to people of any background or none.
BOLT stands for Body Oxygen Level Test, a simple breath hold measure from the Oxygen Advantage method. It is not a diagnosis.
